The WVS team in Thailand treated over 6,000 animals in 2022, but many more needed our help. Your donation will help buy an Animal Ambulance so our teams can provide urgent care for sick and injured animals that would otherwise not receive the treatment they desperately need.

Situation
For many years the WVS team in Thailand has relied on a single vehicle for transporting rescued animals, catching dogs for humane population control programmes, and running outreach projects to improve animal welfare in the surrounding areas. This truck now costs large amounts in monthly repairs, is unreliable for long distances, and needs to be replaced.
Solution
A new Animal Ambulance will enable our team of vets to go into the community, helping more dogs, cats, and other animals who have no owners, or whose owners cannot get them to the clinic. The current truck can then be used for local work, increasing the capacity of the team, and the number of animals that can be helped. Operating two rescue vehicles will also allow us to run more humane population control programmes, helping to improve animal welfare in Chiang Mai and the surrounding area.
