Indigo is a charity that connects our charity partners supporting refugees with trained and volunteering-conscious volunteers as well as support for those volunteers (i.e. access to psychologists) and capacity building for admin teams of our partner charities.

    1. The resourcing gap Our partners are often volunteer-run and dependent on their volunteer's valuable skills. Without these volunteers, organisations would struggle to support the refugee and migrant community. 2. The capability gap Many organisations lack the resources or expertise required to support their teams and operations. Without focused training sessions, psychosocial support and other capacity-building opportunities, organisations may struggle to operate sustainably and efficiently.

Indigo Volunteers addresses the above problems by working closely with our partner organisations to: 1. Understand their volunteer needs and connect them with well-prepared volunteers carrying the right skills and motivations. 2. Understand their challenges, identify gaps, and facilitate additional support. For example, we share best practice documents, support them with policy work, organise training opportunities, and provide well-being support to their teams.
