We strive to rescue and empower girls who have endured gender-based violence, encompassing rape, domestic abuse, child marriage, trafficking, and trauma in Southern Nepal. We provide shelter, legal and medical support, counselling, education, vocational training, and other crucial resources.

Situation
1 in 3 girls and women in Nepal's Madhesh Pradesh have experienced violence, marking it as the most impacted region in the nation. 1 in 2 girls in Madhesh Pradesh is married before they turn 18. This is illegal but sadly a very common practice in the area. Discrimination because of caste, disability, and ethnicity also limits their access to protection, treatment and justice.
Solution
We provide safe house for girls where they receive counselling, education, training, medical and legal support, and most importantly - loving environment. We work with the police, communities and authorities to locate any girls needing assistance. We conduct constant workshops within the communities to raise awareness of child marriage, issues surrounding violence and to emphasise the importance of education. We also provide skills training to ensure the girls have a great future ahead.
