In Ethiopia, many children living in poverty do not have access to education or adequate healthcare. This lack of resources can lead to serious health complications and even death. For those who are hospitalized, the experience can be especially isolating and frightening. Without proper education and support, these children may struggle to understand the changes happening in their bodies or feel hopeless about their future.

At the Ethiopian Hospital Schools, we aim to provide a supportive environment where children can learn and grow despite their health challenges. Our programs include art therapy and play therapy sessions that allow children to express themselves and work through any emotional trauma they may be experiencing. We also offer educational sessions that explain hospital treatments in a way that is easy for children to understand.
