Women and girls and gender minoritised people are routinely marginalised by the health and social programs that mean to benefit and serve them. The Ask, Listen, Act movement puts the power of quality sexual and reproductive health and rights back into the hands of the people who experience the most discrimination, marginalisation and exclusion and seeks to solve the problem of social systems and health services being led in a way that causes negative outcomes.

The ALA Movement harnesses the collective power of a diverse group of people. We recognise that the voices of many collectively informs the impact we have when we speak truth to power. The more of us that work collaboratively to call on duty bearers for change, the greater impact we have, and the more people find their voice and champion their rights. We work together to drive policies, programs, funding and decisions that advance sexual and reproductive health and rights.
