We support women in the community struggling against social and economic disadvantage, often with mental health conditions and at risk of domestic abuse. 7 neighbourhoods in Arun were among the 20% most income-deprived in England, with Bognor Regis being the most deprived (Census 2021). Chichester has an above average income and employment deprivation (both 22.5%), education, skills and training deprivation (13.5%), and crime deprivation and barriers to housing and services (both 9.3%).

Run by women for women, in 2022 My Sisters' House experienced a 150% increase in interactions, including 8747 telephone calls, 1306 face-to-face sessions, 143 Live Chats, 8042 emails and 983 drop-ins. This illustrates the growing demand for our services; 90% of new clients do so through self-referral. With 2 hubs in the heart of the local community, our highly-trained team acts as ‘the net-beneath-the-net’, being the consistent, non-judgemental advocate for women with multiple and complex needs.
