The UK has some of the highest levels of deprivation among the world's richest nations. Amidst a cost of living crisis, and in the wake of COVID, accessing mental health support is increasingly difficult. According to the Mental Health Foundation, “70% of children...who experience mental health problems have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age.” With wait times for NHS support reaching 3 years, making counselling quickly available to those on lower incomes is essential.

SBT is accessible. Upon filling out a simple online form, young people receive a response in under 48 hours to book an online in-take session to discuss their situation. Alongside 6 therapy sessions we provide wellbeing crisis sessions and 24/7 text support. Therapists use recognised, evidence-based interventions and solution-based therapy: needs-led, person-centred. Our therapy is online, over the phone or on text, meaning we can reach those affected by the worst poverty and social issues.
