Due to recent events such as covid-19, the war in Ukraine and the current cost of living crisis, more and more people are likely to be living with symptoms of trauma which inevitably will increase rates of homelessness, bereavement through death and suicide, unmanageable stress, and poverty. From our own experience, many trauma survivors are not getting the support they need because current support services are not adequately equipped to deal with the complexities of trauma.

We believe that for people to improve their mental health and therefore their quality of life, they must feel empowered to make their own choices and seek support that is right for them, not ones that are dictated by other people or professionals. We also believe that healing from trauma is a lifelong journey that continues even after therapy has ended. Our projects address these issues and is centred on providing support that makes a sustainable and meaningful difference to trauma survivors.
