    Situation

Over the past few years, we have seen a 30% increase in young people coming to us with mental health issues due to the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis. Young people are also more likely to come to us with multiple issues affecting their mental health. There are very few services in the area that provide a holistic service, dealing with all the interconnected concerns a young person might be facing. No Limits aims to deal with the person as a whole to work through issues.

    Solution

No Limits Youth Workers are mental health trained and are on hand to help without waiting lists or appointments during drop-in hours at the Advice Centre. We have emergency department workers based in five Hampshire Hospitals to help young people who present because of their mental health and offer counselling and peer support groups. Last year we supported over 3,000 young people with their emotional wellbeing and 75% said their stress level had improved since seeking support with No Limits.
