We run free Kindness Workshops in primary schools, working with more than 55,000 children every year. Our workshops teach children about the importance of kindness and the direct impact it has on their own mental health and wellbeing.

Data from NHS Digital suggests that one in six children and young people has a probable mental health condition and we know that many more struggle with low level anxiety and low self-esteem. Data from the Mental Health Foundation shows 50% of mental health problems are established by age 14, so early intervention and support is key.

Research has shown that kindness improves our mental health and wellbeing, creates healthy relationships and builds strong, supportive communities. Our workshops aim to empower children by helping them to realise that the little choices they make every day matter, and that they have the power to improve their own mental health and wellbeing. We want to equip children with this knowledge at a young age to inspire them to use kindness as a way of helping themselves as well as those around them.
