West London is one of the most unequal and economically disadvantaged areas of the UK with pockets of extreme wealth - the richest streets in Britain - bordering some of the top 10% of most deprived areas of the UK. 1 in 5 children in West London are not receiving the support they need to reach their full potential. Many of the students in our 2-year programme come from low-income families and don't have access to aspirational opportunities during the summer holidays.

WLZ works with the local community to provide personalised support for every child in our two year programme. This support continues during the school holidays with trips and activities. By providing a variety of experiences, from trips to the Zoo, to art workshops, to football camps, our students are able to continue building their confidence and make friends with the support from our Link Workers and community partners.
