Our Ocean is intrinsically connected to all life on earth. It is the life support system that we depend on for water, food and even the oxygen we breathe. Help safeguard it with us, for the benefit of all humanity.

Our Ocean is in crisis, threatened by human progress and carelessness, suffocated by pollution, corrupted by plastic and exploited for our benefits. An estimated eight million tonnes of plastic enter the Ocean every year, impacting almost 700 species. The damage already done is overwhelming. Urgent action is needed if we are to save the Ocean, and our planet, for future generations to come.

Endorsed by UNESCO, our Youth Outreach Programme is at the heart of what we do. In 2021/22 we finished the development of a suite of three initiatives, targeted by age from three to 25 years old. These programmes progress from a ‘toe in the water' for the very youngest to a fully immersive experience for older children and young adults. Since our launch in 2009, over 1.1 million young people globally have been engaged in tackling Ocean threats using our resources.
