Situation
A recent House of Lords report noted that the twin crises of climate change and nature loss demand an immediate and sustained response. The report said that 32% of emissions reductions in the UK up to 2035 will need decisions by individuals and households to adopt low carbon technologies, reduce carbon-intensive consumption and choose low-carbon products and services.
Solution
PeCAN believes that one of the most effective ways to influence these decisions is through well-organised community engagement. We work with local people and organisations to make the required changes to our buildings, transport, natural environment, understanding and behaviour, to live sustainably.
