200+ children facing multiple disadvantages in West London will benefit from 6 weeks of physically stimulating activities. Summer is the most difficult time for our children; with families facing additional challenges due to the rising cost of living, we anticipate this summer to be our toughest.

We work closely with children aged 5-16 recovering from complex trauma. Many of the children we care for have experienced things no child should. Our children are affected by; abuse, neglect, isolation, grief, malnutrition and poverty. Overcrowding is a prominent issue amongst our families, with 35% living in temporary sub-standard accommodations with damp and infestations commonplace. As a result, many of our children would normally be excluded from the activities we offer.

We plan to deliver a 6-week holiday project to tackle the multiple disadvantages our children face. Adopting a unique ratio of one adult to every two children ensures that each child receives much-needed adult time and attention. By harnessing the transformative power of play, children are encouraged to explore, flourish and grow in a safe environment. Our project will deliver various stimulating, fun activities, healthy eating initiatives and exciting trips in and out of London.
