Our ecosystems are on the brink, threatening habitats, wildlife and humankind. But trees and forests sustain all living things and protect life on earth. Through tree planting we can bring forests back to life, help nature recover and repair our broken ecosystems for wildlife, people and planet.

Climate change, human activity and rampant deforestation are causing rapid habitat and biodiversity loss, destroying our fragile ecosystems. Wildlife, like elephants, white rhinos and red squirrels are threatened with extinction. Natural disasters like floods, droughts and mudslides are worsening. And the wellbeing, food and water security of millions of people are at risk. But trees offer countless, incredible benefits that sustain life on earth and safeguard our planet's future.

Forests provide a haven for biodiversity and support vibrant ecosystems. So at ITF, we work with local communities to plant and grow native trees. Together we will restore forests, repair nature and protect vital habitats, like Mount Kenya's magnificent elephant corridor. Our holistic approach transforms landscapes, mitigates natural disasters and builds resilience to climate change. Through tree planting we can restore nature and create enduring impact for wildlife, people and planet.
