This year we are hosting a garden and outdoor classroom at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, raising awareness of insects and their importance for our world. After the show we want to relocate the garden using it as a permanent learning resource in Stratford, East London. We now need your support.

Over half of the two million living species in the world are insects. Only 10% have been recorded and described so far, while being so crucial to medical research, food production and more. Working with Project Giving Back and award-winning designer Tom Massey we are creating an innovative insect show garden for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2023 to inspire everyone to learn more about insects. After Chelsea we need to fund the relocation and outreach programme for this world class insect garden.

With this relocation project we want to maximise the use of our insect garden, making sure it has a permanent home after Chelsea and can be used by a large variety of local groups. The garden and outdoor classroom will be used by academic researchers and schools, with self-guided tours available year-round. Once relocated at the IQL this will be a fantastic, easily accessible learning resource for everyone, furthering our mission to show every person how remarkable and valuable insects are.
