We all should be able to enjoy the huge health and wellbeing benefits our beautiful National Parks provide. But there are many barriers to accessing these spaces. This needs to change. We fight for equal National Parks. Will you join us to make sure that these beautiful places are for everyone?

The first of the now 13 National Parks in England and Wales were created for working people over 70 years ago. But statistics now show that fewer young people, disabled people and low-income and ethnic minority backgrounds visit and benefit from these beautiful landscapes. Our current accessibility to these spaces is also under threat: for example, the recent decision effectively ban wild camping in Dartmoor without landowner permission is a major step backwards.

At Campaign for National Parks we fight for legislation, policy and plans that would deliver truly equal and inclusive National Parks from the Lake District, Exmoor and the South Downs, to the Pembrokeshire Coast and North York Moors. We bring together individuals and groups to form connections, so we can represent and champion diverse voices. In the midst of the crisis our generation faces in nature, climate, social inequality and health, we need our National Parks more than ever.
