Listed buildings, such as Old John Tower, are vulnerable to the forces of natural erosion, decay, and damage. A recent condition survey has highlighted several urgent repair needs to the Tower’s locally sourced granite walls. The site is vast, and the upkeep continual. We need your help to ensure repairs to this irreplaceable historic landmark happen before it's too late.

With your help, we can ensure repair work is carefully undertaken by experienced building engineers, with a view to prioritising the existing historic fabric so that it is still standing for many years to come. The works will also ensure the Tower is in optimum condition for continued public access.
