We have been restoring and protecting the Westcountry's rivers for more than 28 years, helping people to reconnect with them and supporting wildlife to thrive. They can offer an escape from everyday life and we want to everyone to safely enjoy being in, on or near our wonderful rivers.

Our rivers are important, not just for wildlife, but for people too. However, rivers are struggling; often suffering from the impacts of pollution and habitat damage. We want to bolster how important freshwater habitats are to human life in the minds of individuals and communities to ensure people can do their best to minimise negative human impacts on river health.

We will work closely with local communities, schools, landowners and organisation to build a love for, and connection to, our rivers. We will raise awareness of the issues our rivers are facing and help to provide the tools and opportunities so that people can actively work to restore their rivers. We will do this by taking our work out into diverse communities, schools and colleges, creating innovative participation events as well as providing advice for landowners and businesses.
