    Situation

There are few affordable engaging opportunities for young people to develop socially and continue their informal education outside of school. Financial restraints on low-income families can mean children from poorer families often find themselves bored and disengaged when outside of school. Leading to learning loss, loneliness and can be damaging to their physical and mental health. A lack of opportunity also means that young people are more likely to get involved in gangs and street violence.

    Solution

Our After School Programme provides a safe affordable space for young people to develop. We aim to enrich young lives by giving local young people, aged 5 to adulthood, the chance to thrive and give back to the community by providing activities that are enabling, educational and participative in a safe, attractive, neutral environment. Keeping them active and healthy with a range of fun inclusive sporting activities. Teaching them respect and helping them become responsible citizens.
