This campaign will help us raise funds to improve the quality of life of young victims of trafficking through our youth programme. We will use the funds to improve their safety, health and well-being, resilience via mentoring, peer support groups, fun and recreational activities, and hardship fund.

Situation
ECPAT UK is the leading children’s rights charity working directly with young victims of trafficking and those at risk. Most children we support directly are unaccompanied and asylum seekers in the UK. They have significant health and other needs due to the trauma and abuse they have suffered as result of their exploitation. They also continue to face fear of rejection, poverty, homelessness, risk of re-trafficking and abuse due to their unstable immigration status.
Solution
We support the young victims through our youth programme which is rights based, child centred, and trauma informed. Through our youth programme, we will provide one-to-one mentoring and gender specific peer support groups as a safe space for participation and supporting them towards stability, well-being, recovery, and resilience. We will also organise recreational and fund trip to improve their mental and physical health and provide hardship fund amidst cost of living crisis.
