The crisis in Ukraine is profound and human suffering continues to be immense. Dragon Oxford Ukraine (affiliate of British Ukrainian Aid) procures and sends vital specialist medical equipment for severely under equipped hospitals and first aid provisions to the front line and elsewhere.

The need continues to be great, with many displaced people, shortages of basic supplies and a lack of equipment in hospitals and in the field to adequately treat those injured on the front line. We have organised over 25 trips to Ukraine and transported an estimated half a million pounds of medical and surgical equipment. We have procured, transported and distributed surgical equipment on behalf of Médecins Sans Frontières, the WHO and the Worshipful Company of Barber Surgeons.
We respond to specific requests from our contacts across Ukraine by getting hold of required items, transporting them to Ukraine and organising logistics of distribution across the country. Our contacts include trauma and orthopaedic surgeons on the ground in Ukraine, and many of the requests have been for specialist surgical and operating theatre equipment as well as other medical and surgical equipment.
