The Two Moors Festival in October 2023 will run classical concerts on Dartmoor and Exmoor in rurally isolated parts of Somerset and Devon over a ten day period; Outreach into local primary and secondary schools and The Young Musicians' Competition to SW musicians under 18 of grade 7 or above.

Bringing high quality classical music to rurally isolated and lonely people across Devon and Somerset. Educating primary and secondary children about classical music and instruments and to give musically gifted children under 18 access to professional musicians.
Solution
Over a quarter of our audience in 2021 said that they suffer from loneliness and the Two Moors Festival alleviates this and brings them joy. It is rare to hear such high quality classical music in rurally isolated parts of Devon and Somerset, our audiences would usually have to travel to a City centre which many cannot afford. Bringing classical music into local primary and secondary schools introduces children to real live classical music which is a new experience for many.
