We need to raise £8,000 to fund the annual service charge for our charity caravan which includes Site Fees, Water & Sewerage, Gas, Electricity, Maintenance & Insurance. This will enable us to provide free holidays to 48 families affected by breast cancer to give them ‘something to look forward to’.

Situation
62% of the people that use our charity are affected by breast cancer and 100% of those report that they have been either moderately or severely financially impacted by their cancer diagnosis due to not being able to work or due to increased bills associated with their illness. Our breast cancer community cannot afford to access a holiday which would provide a vital opportunity to break from the world of cancer, rest and recuperate, and create positive memories, essential for emotional wellbeing.
Solution
We will provide 48 holidays to families of up to 6 people affected by breast cancer at our charity caravan. These breaks will improve the emotional health and wellbeing of 288 people affected by cancer poverty including cancer patients and their families and Carers. Families will be provided with free essential respite including a 6-night break, free entertainment and leisure activities as well as other donated gifts and experiences during their stay including swimming, food parcels and days out
