CRCC provides specialist counselling services for women and girls who are survivors of sexual violence, through both 1-2-1 counselling and peer support groups. Without secure long-term funding for these services, we are raising funds to enable us to meet the increase in need and demand.

Our support has become life-saving not just life-changing since the pandemic. We are still seeing more survivors of sexual violence reaching out to us for support than ever before in our 40 year history. Our counselling services do not have secure long-term funding and our funding hasn't increased to a level that matches demand. We currently have 130 women and girls waiting for counselling support and that number increases every month.

Additional funding will enable us to get women and girls off our waiting list and into life-saving trauma-informed 1-2-1 counselling and peer support group counselling. £1,700 raised will fund one six-week peer support group. Every £50 raised will fund one 1-2-1 counselling session for a female survivor.
