    Situation

Demand for mental health support for young people continues to increase and NHS resources cannot meet the demand and many can't afford counselling. Our counsellors are seeing increasingly complex mental health issues which require in-person as well as on-line CBT counselling support. We have 100 young on our waiting list with a variety of mental health issues preventing those affected to fully engage in education, work and their community.

    Solution

We aim to provide mental health support which enables the young in our community fully engage with school, work and their community in a positive and sustainable way. In 2021 we supported 400+ young with 4,000+ counselling sessions. We aim to increase the number of counselling sessions available to reduce our waiting list and support more young people in need.
