For many young Londoners living in low- scoring socio -economic areas, the playing field is not level. As well as challenges around low self esteem, due to negative attitudes of wider society and a lack of positive role models, there is frequent inequality of opportunity, exposure to uninspiring environments and social and economic barriers to accessible pathways towards personal and career development. The cost if living has led to an even more uneven for young people living with disadvantage.
