We partner with The Michael Project Zimbabwe (TMP Zimbabwe) who operate two preschools which cater for low-income families, as well as a preschool and day care centre for the children of incarcerated female inmates. Partner with us in providing education to marginalised and vulnerable children.

Zimbabwe is experiencing an economic crisis, which has resulted in an estimated 60.7 per cent of children being simultaneously deprived in three or more areas of their well being. These areas include education, nutrition and child protection. Parents can no longer afford to educate and feed their children. This in turn makes children vulnerable to separation from their families who send them to the rural areas. Sadly, they then face higher levels of poverty there than their urban counterparts.

The funds secured for TMP Zimbabwe will further the work we help them to do through their preschools and day care centre. Education is made accessible to marginalised children. Nutritious meals are provided, which for some children is the only hot meal they will eat that day. The preschools provide sensory rich surroundings for children to learn and grow. Families are thus kept intact, as parents know their child's educational and nutritional needs are met in a safe, and nurturing environment.
