Support for at risk young people has never been needed more desperately, yet services have never been more squeezed. At The Station in Bristol, Creative Youth Network provides an inclusive, fun space and support for the increasing numbers of young people in crisis. We need urgent help to do more.

Situation
Many of the 7,500 young people we see each year face complex struggles, threatening them with marginalisation or worse. Their home or community may not feel safe, there may be violence or drug abuse. Perhaps discrimination or language barriers are a fact of life. Some have mental health issues, or disability, others are carers. These challenges take a heavy toll. Young people who cannot find their place risk falling through the gaps, cut off from school, work and social opportunities.
Solution
We are the biggest youth services provider for Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We work in deprived communities, collaborating with community partners to engage young people other organisations cannot. The Station is a hub for all, especially those whose lives are rich in struggle, poor in happiness. Every young person deserves to have a place they feel welcome and safe, where they can hang out, relax, find specialist support or just feel they belong. they belong.
