The Rugby Portobello Trust supports children and young people from in and around North Kensington. Through music, art, sports, mentoring, skills building, employment support, wellbeing and mental health support and more, we ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Situation
Children and young people were hardest hit by the pandemic and are still facing the effects of lockdown, with their their education, physical health and mental health -- 35% of young people today say they have never felt more alone (Prince's Trust NatWest Youth Index 2022). Children lack the enthusiasm and energy they had pre-pandemic and, more than ever, young people are worried about their prospects.
Solution
We’ve listened to the concerns of local children and young people and now have a full-time Wellbeing Support Worker and a full-time Employment Support Workers working across all our programmes, and we're redeveloping our digital inclusion work to ensure our community has the resources, skills and confidence needed to access opportunities and reach their potential.
