ThinkForward exists to prevent the next generation of youth unemployment. Currently 800,000 16–24-year-olds (11.6%) in the UK are not in education, training, or employment (NEET). The challenges faced by these young people are complex and often involve unstable family situations, workless households, intergenerational poverty and marginalisation. These young people are twice as likely than their better off peers to end up NEET and suffer long term damage to their health and prospects.

We deliver 3 long-term, personalised coaching and employability programmes supporting young people who face barriers in their lives to make positive transitions from education into employment. Our ultimate aim is to equip these young people with the confidence independence and skills they need for a successful future. We support 1,200 young people a year nationally to overcome the challenges they face and achieve their ambitions.
