We believe faith changes lives. Children and teenagers today face new pressures, including from social media. BRF’s ministry Parenting for Faith helps parents help children and teenagers find their own faith in God. They live God-connected lives in the everyday, and know that God is with them.

Children and teenagers have difficulties not seen before: isolation, negative social media experiences and the long-lasting effects of the pandemic. The Christian faith transforms lives but the number of families in church is declining. Children do not inherit the Gospel or develop a faith lasting into adulthood. For parents and carers, the challenges to explore faith and help children know God through current childhood experiences can feel too big or prescriptive.

BRF’s ministry Parenting for Faith equips parents and all involved in raising children and teenagers to help them grow their own relationship with God. Using five key tools - creating windows, framing, unwinding, chat and catch, and surfing the waves – parents have confidence to share the reality of a life lived in God, relating it to children’s everyday experience, and children live God-connected lives, developing more of the characteristics of Jesus. Their faith is sustained into adulthood.
