Recent figures suggest there have been 50,000 fewer cancer diagnoses since Covid hit. This risks an increasing number of late diagnoses which reduces the chances of survival. The pandemic has added to the distress as treatments are also delayed and surgeries cancelled. Today, there are over 178,000 people living with or beyond cancer in London. At Maggie's we are here to provide free cancer support, benefits advice, and psychological support to anyone affected by cancer.

Maggie’s helps people with cancer take back control– supporting them with anything from treatment side effects to money worries. We provide non-clinical support in person and online which without, can leave people feeling lost, confused, and desperate. Our centre’s offers free, personalised support to help people see beyond their diagnosis, feel less overwhelmed, manage stress, understand their treatment and deal with emotions surrounding dying and cancer returning.
