After another tough year, Shrewsbury House is up and running at full capacity. With over 300 children registered, we provide a safe environment for learning through play to develop and learn skills. We also need to respond to the wellbeing needs of our children and young people impacted by financial hardship. At both primary and secondary education levels, there is a lot of catching up to do against a background of deprivation if these young people's futures are to be salvaged.

This funding will allow us develop the support we provide for our members, including the older young people who are school leavers. We will appoint part-time staff to deliver specialist tuition in IT, nutrition, yoga, confidence building and self esteem, and engage SEN workers. We will continue our rolling programme of sports and music equipment refurbishment and use both residential trips and outdoor activities to promote wellbeing and social awareness.
