Situation
Each year 3,200 women and people with a cervix are diagnosed with cervical cancer, with thousands living with and beyond the disease. A further 220,000 are told they have cell changes which may, if left untreated, lead to cervical cancer. From our research we know many women who go for screening feel scared & unprepared for an unexpected result; the impact of cancer can be truly isolating.
Solution
No question is too big or small for our Support Services. We provide tailored information and support across all aspects of cervical screening, results, cancer symptoms & living with and beyond cancer. We provide tips, help women understand their options, empower them to advocate for themselves and can be a listening ear. With more resource we can open our Helpline for longer, answer more email enquiries, deliver more support events and expand the reach of our website & online services.
