Little Gate Farm is an amazing charity which help adults and children with learning disabilities and autism. Our Young Rangers Club allows children with learning disabilities to have fun and make friends outside but we need a fully accessible minibus to get them to the farm.

Children and young people with disabilities are often excluded from activities available to others, particularly in the holidays and at weekends. They often experience isolation because of the lack of suitable activities and have few chances to make lasting friendships. The lack of provision in our area for young people with additional needs results in a lack of opportunity and social exclusion for many families, with little chance of respite.

We run a Young Rangers Holiday club at Little Gate Farm for children with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. Activities are designed to increase confidence, independence and wellbeing by enabling young people to try new things and learn new skills. Activities take place on the farm and in the woodland. The holiday club is based around outdoor activities and are fun and adventurous. Activities focus on independence, confidence, togetherness, friendship and safe risk taking.
