Situation
We provide unforgettable stays with valuable learning experiences and much needed respite. Our supported children are predominately aged between 7 and 11, and come from backgrounds of challenge and disadvantage, some suffer abuse and neglect, others live in poverty, many even act as a young carer for a parent, sibling or other relative. Children are referred to us by schools, voluntary sector, and other agencies ensuring we have the full support of their family/guardians.
Solution
A stay at Lineham Farm is filled with adventure, fun and learning, in a safe and happy environment – childhood as it should be. Young people take part in all types of activities, low ropes; climbing; bouldering; orienteering; mountain biking; animal care; environmental work; night-lines and bushcraft. During their stay children are provided with fresh, nutritious, home cooked meals. For many Lineham Farm is a sanctuary, a place where they can reflect, feel safe, have fun and learn new skills.
