Justice and Care works alongside police and others to rescue victims of modern slavery. We empower them to rebuild their lives and help pursue the criminal networks responsible. We protect communities at risk from traffickers and work with governments to create change at scale.

Around 50 million people are estimated to be living in modern day slavery today - more than 100,000 in the UK alone. Men and women are brutally exploited in almost every country on earth - forced into sexual exploitation, blackmailed into criminality or abused in a life of servitude. One in four victims are children and 71% are women and girls. It is the fastest growing crime in the world, but few perpetrators are ever brought to justice.

We are committed to an all-out-assault on slavery. In the UK, we have Victim Navigators embedded within police forces and other frontline agencies to provide tactical advice, training and critical support to victims, including access to counselling, legal advice and medical treatment. 92% of the survivors we have supported have been empowered to engage with police investigations, compared to an estimate of just 44% nationally - increasing prosecution rates of traffickers and securing justice for survivors.
