With over 25 years' experience, The Nehemiah Project provides an holistic, peer group approach to addiction recovery for vulnerable men with a history of addiction, crime and homelessness. The majority of the men we support, join Nehemiah directly from prison, having made a decision to want to change their lives, for themselves and their families. Most of the men are aged between 30-60 years and have been in and out of prison for most of their adult lives.
Nehemiah provides a residential 12 week programme, where men can address the root causes of their addiction within a supportive environment. We operate from five houses on south London. Our specialist recovery staff work intensely with each Resident, providing keywork support as well as deliver a group day programme. Family support and employment and training support is also provided alongside. Once a Resident graduates from the 12 week programme they are offered move-on accommodation.
