The vast majority of people are unaware they have liver damage until being admitted to hospital, often as an emergency. By this time, it can be too late for treatment or interventions to reverse the disease. Early stage non-alcohol related fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is already estimated to affect 1 in 3 people across the UK - this is a preventable form of liver disease, & if untreated can lead to liver cancer. But 90% of cases can be reversed through lifestyle changes if caught early enough.

Love Your Liver is our national campaign which raises awareness & supports people to take steps to a healthy liver. We have a free online screener & provide 'high street health checks' for the public, supported by local clinicians. Over the past 10 years we have seen almost 10,000 people on our mobile unit, & reached many more through wide media coverage. We need a new mobile unit to see more people, & engage with senior health contacts to improve awareness, diagnosis & treatment - saving lives.
