Our mission is to keep the Argylls two-hundred-year legacy alive through education. By reflecting the history and traditions of the society we served, we will create and deliver museum, classroom and online based learning resources that include literacy, numeracy, music, art, health and well-being.

After prolonged closure for redevelopment, we urgently need to deliver our mission to keep The Argylls legacy alive through education. Schools urgently require quality learning resources to help meet their priority learning needs. Critical resources are needed to meet Scotland's vision for excellence and equity in priority areas as literacy, numeracy and health & well-being. With sufficient funds, The Argylls museum can help address these problems, both locally and nationally.

We will keep The Argylls legacy alive through provision of high quality, free learning resources to support Scottish primary and secondary school students. We will bring to life workshops in curriculum areas such as numeracy, literacy, and health & wellbeing using stories from two hundred years of military and community service and our unique museum collection. Our skilled education staff will design and deliver new learning workshops within our museum spaces, online and through outreach visits.
