We are working to secure the future of Leicestershire and Rutland's wildlife and wild places. Through caring for our nature reserves, empowering local people to take action for nature, and reconnecting and restoring habitats, we can help nature recover and wildlife thrive.

Our natural world is in trouble; wildlife is disappearing at an alarming rate and the threat of climate catastrophe is a constant worry. We need to create more space for nature to recover and we need to restore beautiful wild places - places that store carbon and help to tackle the climate crisis, and we need to empower more people to take action for natural world. Nature needs our help now more than ever.
There is still hope, if we act now. With your help we can continue to protect, enhance and invest in our nature reserves, with greater size and ecological value they will provide the best places for wildlife to survive and thrive. We can educate more young people about the importance of caring for nature, we can work with more people in our communities to create better opportunities for wildlife, and we can continue to carry out vital conservation projects that help species thrive.
