Supporting primary schools' access to an online learning platform that enables children to learn about and take action to reduce their school's impact on the environment. As a result of this, many of the children take their learning home and reduce their families' impacts too.

Schools use significant amounts of energy, with the average school's energy bill (in 2020) running to £31,000 per year. With energy costs set to rise in April 2022, bills could reach £80,000 per year in some schools. Children often learn about environmental issues at school, but don't necessarily learn how they can take action to make a difference.

https://www.betterplanetschools.org.uk provides primary schools in the UK access to 3 online learning modules per year, each of which contains lessons, worksheets and activities designed to be undertaken over the course of a school term. Modules provide the children with the information they need to act more responsibly, together with ideas for child-led behaviour change campaigns. Pilot schools have reduced their energy usage by at least 10% and as much as 15% as a result of behaviour change.
