In rural Uganda, half of the people have no access to clean safe water. Poor sanitation, hygiene, and unsafe water is contributing to poor health, and extreme poverty. Most people are drinking unsafe, dirty water leading to high level of water diseases such as cholera, typhoid, dysentery malaria, and water-borne diseases with a high impact rate of child mortality of vulnerable children. Women and children spend more time collecting unsafe water from long distances instead of education.

The impact on communities in rural villages is significant, improved health and well-being that will enable people to work giving them the tools they need to lift them out of extreme poverty.
