Destruction of nature is making climate change worse, raising the risk of new infectious diseases and taking us closer to tipping points in the Earth's system. Tropical deforestation is a case in point. A football field of forest is lost every 6 seconds - the majority of this destruction is caused by agricultural expansion for globally traded commodities like soy, palm oil, beef and timber. These commodities end up in our shops and in our animal feed.

We use data to transform the transparency in the supply chains of these commodities and the trillions of dollars of finance that support them. That data is open access and can be used by companies and financial institutions to make better choices. We work with leading research institutions worldwide to develop ground breaking tools and platforms that can be used to assess and manage deforestation and natural capital risk.
