Environmental action in Ghana must also bolster community resilience and improve lives. We plant trees with local schools, teaching children about conservation and providing food and shade. We train young adults in renewable energy and help them implement life-changing technology in their locality.

The climate and ecological emergency impacts communities unequally, with those from rural and underserved communities paying a higher price. Likewise, the education and money needed to implement the available solutions to these challenges are also unequally distributed. Grassroots environmental thinkers in Ghana require resources and a platform to grow their campaigns, to mobilise their own communities in the struggle for climate justice.
Aiming to inspire future generations of environmental leaders: 1. We will focus our second annual tree planting event on schools; children will learn the importance of protecting native trees and the practical skills of nurturing saplings and will witness them grow into mature trees. 2. We will provide training courses for young people in renewable technologies and support participants to deliver life-changing projects in their communities, improving access to clean power and cooking methods.
