Abuse is minimised. 82% of all victims of physical or sexual abuse under 18 are female. Females ages 16-19 are 4 times more likely than the general population to be victims of rape, attempted rape or sexual assault. Teenage mental health, suicide and trauma is at an all time high. Teen abuse is epidemic. Trauma & pain not discussed or understood lowers self esteem, diminishes boundaries and causes long term physical and mental health damage for the next generation of women in Salford.

Bringing lived experience, real voices of abuse and workshops discussing women's roles in society and the views and voices of women and girls together to help the next generation, tackle the endemic, battles, struggles and real life every day fight to survive as a female in Salford. It will educate teenagers, their parents, teachers, peers and society what abuse is, why we accept it and how through dealing with trauma we can change the next generation of women.
