Situation
Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) is a pandemic which has been raging for centuries, with patriarchal systems of oppression and misogynistic social norms subjugating women & girls to ongoing harm, discrimination and oppression. Many survivors of VAWG are not fully informed of their rights and options & often face barriers when trying to access support, particularly when experiencing multiple disadvantages. Current VAWG support provision in London is limited, at over capacity & inaccessible
Solution
We will provide immediate advice, information and support for survivors of VAWG via face 2 face work, an advice line, web chat and email. Survivors will gain seamless access to specialist support, free to be themselves and safely explore their rights and options. We offer dedicated support for global majority and marginalised women and girls, reducing barriers to support and bridging gaps in provision, enabling survivors to reach safety, healing and rediscover their true selves post-trauma.
