We believe that within each woman there are hidden treasures, covered up by trauma and drug addiction. We need funds to ensure that vulnerable women are not only supported 24/7 in our loving home, but can also access specialist therapy, enabling them to recover, thrive and reach their full potential

Female ex-offenders have higher levels of disadvantage; including mental ill health, substance misuse and trauma. 60% lose their housing whilst in custody – often ending up in hostels, exposing them to risky situations. There is a lack of suitable women-only accommodation and out of hours support for these vulnerable women with complex needs. A safe and supportive home is fundamental for these women to recover, break the cycle of offending and addiction, to thrive and live independently.

We will offer a home and 24/7 support to 9 vulnerable women at a time. Through structured programmes and specialist therapy, Keyworkers work alongside residents and community beneficiaries to help them recover, access health services, learn life skills, build healthy relationships, find employment and reach their full potential and ultimately live well independently. Our work will positively impact the wider community through a reduction in crime, antisocial behaviour and homelessness.
