We are raising funds for memory books and craft materials as one of the activities we offer as part of our support. All the children and young people compile a memory book to record those all-important precious memories about the person they have lost.

    Although it is a natural part of life the loss of someone close can be a distressing and overwhelming experience, especially for children and young people. The trauma caused by the death or terminal illness diagnosis of someone important in a child's life can have serious implications, impacting on relationships, behaviour, eating and sleeping habits, anxiety, attendance and performance at school and can have a lasting detrimental effect well into adulthood.

    We offer the following support 1 to 1 bereavement support, play therapy & counselling Pre-bereavement support for children, young people & their parents/carers affected by terminal illness 1 to 1 bereavement counselling for adult family members Filial Therapy and Bereaved Family Programmes to support families together Face to face and telephone advice and support for children, families and professionals Social Events and monthly Peer Support Groups Children’s Group Activities and Workshops
